- 6% increase in candidates seeking PGY1 residencies,
- 10% increase in candidates seeking PGY2 residencies,
- 2,495 PGY1 positions matched, a 10% increase in filled positions, and
- 601 PGY2 positions matched, a 19% increase in filled positions
This year 1,438 individuals seeking PGY1 residencies did not match,
and 199 PGY1 positions remain unfilled post match. For PGY2
residencies there were 176 unmatched individuals and 91 unfilled PGY2
positions
